Internet Backbone Connectivity

Clients can be offered data rates from 1Mbps to 45 Mbps, which can be configured as dedicated or burstable. The service can be Symmetrical/Asymmetrical, Simplex/ Duplex and is guaranteed at Committed Information Rates (CIR). Internet services are provided through Optical Fiber, Wireless Broadband & Satellite based on the client’s requirement. The Internet backbone can be selected according to the geographical location of the client, so as to hop instantaneously, while maintaining fast transmission rates.

V-SAT

NASACOM offers Very Small Aperture Terminals -- is satellite-based wireless communications technology that is designed for use by people who are located in remote locations, or perhaps somewhere in the middle of the ocean where there isn't a cell tower or wireless access point for miles. Extreme field service workers in fact, use VSAT technology quite extensively; such as utility people locate don distant oilrigs or service SWAT teams somewhere in the middle of the desert. These systems are also used by the military, to provide limited communications to tactical forces. Some banks to zap information around the globe also use them. It is an effective remote communications and connectivity alternative, but obviously not for the vast majority of Internet cruisers since it is expensive and can be comparatively slow as compared with cable and DSL connections. A far less expensive alternative would be cellular-based connections, since you wouldn't have to deal with the specialized routers, necessary signal accelerators and amplifier, and the expensive satellite link time.

LAN

NASACOM offers LAN solution. A local area network is a computer network limited to the immediate area, usually the same building or floor of a building. LANs are capable of transmitting data at very fast rates, much faster than the data that is transmitted to you over the Internet; there is no limit on the number of computers that can be attached to a single LAN. Local area network: a local computer network for communication between computers; especially a network connecting computers and word processors and other electronic office equipment to create a communication system between offices.

Optical Fiber

NASACOM has proficiency in Optical Fiber. Fiber optic cable can support much higher data rates, and at greater distances, than coaxial cable, making it ideal for transmission of serial digital data. The fiber is totally immune to virtually all kinds of interference, including lightning, and will not conduct electricity. It can therefore come in direct contact with high voltage electrical equipment and power lines. It will also not create ground loops of any kind.

Wireless Network

NASACOM wireless network allows computers to share printers, files or an internet connection without any wires between them. Wireless networking hardware uses radio frequencies to transmit information between the individual computers; each computer requires a wireless network adapter. A wireless network hub or router is used to bridge the wireless network to traditional Ethernet or home phone line networks, or provide a shared internet connection.
